Lisa Shrem, Principal of Judaic Studies

East Midwood Hebrew Day School is delighted to announce the appointment of our very own Lisa Shrem as Principal of Judaic Studies. She will be replacing our beloved Sara Aronsky who is stepping down for a well deserved retirement.

A long time Hebrew and Judaic Studies educator, a graduate of New York University and Allegra Franco Sephardic Women’s Teachers College, Ms. Shrem represents the new wave of educational leaders. She is dynamic, innovative, full of ideas and fully committed to the Jewish education of the students at East Midwood.   She holds a certificate in Pedagogic Hebrew from the Machon Gold College in Jerusalem and received her administrative training in Educational Leadership from the prestigious Lookstein Center, Bar Ilan University.

We look forward with great enthusiasm to the fall when she will assume her new responsibilities.
